Common questions
Is my drawing saved?
Yes. Just Draw remembers your current drawing and shows it again the next time you open the app. Undo history is not kept, so you cannot undo strokes from an earlier visit. There is one drawing at a time: Clear Canvas starts a new page.
How do I keep a picture of my drawing?
Tap the Share button and choose Save Image to put it in Photos, or send it to a friend. Save a picture before you clear the canvas if you want to keep it.
How do I undo?
Tap Undo in the toolbar, shake your device, swipe left with three fingers, or press ⌘Z with a keyboard. Redo brings it back. Clear Canvas can be undone as well.
Where is Clear Canvas, and where is About?
On a narrow screen the toolbar folds the less-used items into the … menu. Clear Canvas and About are in there. On a wider screen, such as an iPad or the inside of an iPhone Duo, you see them directly.
How do I change the brush size?
Tap the brush button in the toolbar and drag the slider. The dot above it shows the size and color of the line you will draw.
My white line is invisible.
The paper is white, so white ink shows only on top of other colors. It works like correction fluid: use it to paint over a mistake.
Why is the paper white in dark mode?
The paper is a sheet of paper, not part of the interface, so a drawing looks the same whichever appearance you use and when you share it. The toolbar and menus follow your system appearance.
How does Just Draw work on iPhone Duo?
The drawing area fills whichever display you are using and follows the device as you open and close it. The system moves the toolbar to the side of the screen, as it does in other apps. iPhone Duo features need iOS 27.1.
Does Just Draw need access to my photos?
No. Saving goes through the system share sheet, so the app never sees your photo library. Read the privacy policy.
Which languages does it support?
English and Swedish. It uses the language your device is set to.
